Holywell Holiday Park

The Meadow is a family run Holiday Park situated in the picturesque village of Holywell on the North coast of Cornwall.

Set back from Holywell Bay beach, one of the countries most beautiful beaches, The Meadow offers a range of accommodation to families and couples only, ensuring a peaceful and relaxed stay.

Holiday Bungalows & Chalets at Holywell Bay

We have a range of different Bungalows and Chalets here at the Meadow Holiday Park both onsite and offsite. These are as follows:

Onsite:

  • Seascape Chalet
  • Sandscape Chalet

The bungalows and chalets on the site are on level ground with car parking for one car outside each of them.

Offsite – The Treguth Close:

  • Trispen
  • Penmerric
  • Langarrow

Treguth Close is a small cul- de- sac and the accommodation here is available to let all year round. Each Bungalow has a steep driveway with car parking and individual private gardens. These bungalows are south facing and overlook the Meadow Holiday Park.

They all have rotary clothes lines and large picnic tables outside but we ask you not to put disposable barbeques or hot pans on them as they will burn the wood. All bungalows and chalets are fully electric and have metered electricity provided at under the cost to us, not at an inflated price. There are also smoke detectors in all bungalows.

LANGARROW - Three Bedrooms (sleeps six).

2-langarrow_bungalow

This spacious detached three bedroom bungalow is situated next door to Penmerric in Treguth Close. Holywell Bay. It is a very short stroll to the beach about 200m.

Langarrow has everything you need for comfortable and enjoyable holiday break. Booking is Friday to Friday in the main season. Friday changeovers are becoming more popular, who wants to sit in miles of traffic jams entering or leaving Cornwall on a Saturday. Out of peak season dates can be tailored to your needs and days of arrival and departure varied.

Outside

A fairly steep drive way with room for two cars, leads to the garage and kitchen entrance. The bungalow has a long entrance hall with inside entrance to the garage, it also takes you to a good sized rear garden where there a picnic table for alfresco entertaining in the south facing garden. A charcoal barbeque is provided to enhance your outdoor experience. There is a private gate leading to the route to the beach.

Lounge

  • 55 inch smart H.D Television, D.V.D/ Blue Ray Player. Superfast broadband and WI. Fi. Sofas, coffee tables, board games, a selection of reading books and videos for your enjoyment. Open fire from 1st Oct to 1stMay. Night storage Heater.

Kitchen

  • The Kitchen/diner: large table and chairs, night storage heater, television, dishwasher, fridge, hob and oven. A washer/dryer is situated in the garage as well as the portable Charcoal BBQ.

Bedrooms

  • (1)A large double bedroom with duel aspect views. It has a large king sized bed, television, hair dryer, bedroom furniture and night storage heater.
  • (2) Double bedroom with bedroom furniture.
  • (3) Twin 3’ beds with bedroom furniture and night storage heater.

Further details

  • Hallway with airing cupboard and night storage heater.
  • Bathroom with a shower over the bath.
  • Separate toilet.

Welcome Pack

  • Coffee milk and sugar and a selection of Teas,
  • The weekly local paper.

It is a comfortable semi-detached bungalow adjoining Penmerric. It is approximately 300 metres from the beach. There is a front lawn with tarmac driveway to carport. The rear garden is on two levels with rotary clothes line, picnic bench and steps to lower level. The lounge has a three piece suite, coffee table, Flat screen T.V. and DVD player. There are two bedrooms; the first has a double bed, wardrobe, dressing table, bedside cabinets with table lights (and cot if needed), hairdryer. The second has two 2 ft 6 in, divan beds, wardrobe, and bedside cabinets with table lights. Bathroom has toilet, sink, electric shower over bath, shaver point and heated towel rail. The kitchen is compact with table and chairs for four people, washing machine, fridge, electric cooker, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, steam iron and ironing board. Every room has an electric wall mounted heater. Water is heated by emersion, the switch is outside the bathroom on the wall. Electric is by meter which is situated above the front door (£1 coin). Smoke alarm in hallway. Duvet and pillows are provided for each bed but NO LINEN.

This three bedroom detached south facing bungalow with level approach (prefabricated concrete). There is a sun porch/cloakroom. Entrance hall. Lounge 14ft x 11ft with three piece suite, coffee table, table light, glazed bookcase, Flat screen T.V. and D.V.D. Bedroom 1, 10ft x 9ft. Double bed, and wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet with table light. Bedroom 2, 10ft x 11ft one single bed (3ft), wardrobe, bedside light and cabinet. Bedroom 3, 9ft x 7ft. has one single bed, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. The large shower room has a shaver point, heated towel rail, fan heater, The bedroom hall way has a free night storage heater (12pm to 6pm approx). SEASCAPE - Two bedrooms (sleeps 4).

A basic older style timber chalet of the 1940s and of character with external corrugated asbestos cladding. They have the advantage of being a lot more spacious than a caravan.

The south facing chalet front door opens in to the lounge/dinner 12ft x 13ft which has a large sofa, foot stool and coffee table. TV and DVD. Both bedrooms lead off from the lounge. Double bedroom 13ft x 9 ft, has a double bed, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. Twin bedroom 13ft x10ft has two 3ft beds, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. Lounge/diner 12ft x 13ft, three piece suite, T.V. coffee table, dining table and four chairs plus two stools. The kitchen 10ft x 5 ft 6ins has an electric cooker, fridge, electric kettle, microwave, and toaster, iron and ironing board; the electric meter is inside the cupboard in the kitchen. Bathroom has toilet, sink and shower.

A basic older style timber chalet of the 1940s and of character with external corrugated asbestos cladding. They have the advantage of being a lot more spacious than a caravan.

The south facing chalet front door opens into the lounge/dinner 11ft x 13ft which has a large sofa, two arm chairs, coffee table and sideboard. TV and DVD Dinning table and chairs. Two of the bedrooms lead off from the lounge. Double room 9ft x 9 ft 6in, double bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinet. Single bedroom has one single bed and dressing table. The third bedroom 11ft x 13ft 6 ins, is a large room with double bed, wardrobe, dressing table and chest of drawers which leads off from the kitchen as does the shower room. The kitchen has electric cooker, fridge, electric kettle, microwave and toaster, iron and ironing board. The electric meter is in the corridor next to the bathroom.
