The cold weather which is sweeping across the country this week in February is making Spring Cleaning down at The Meadow Holiday Park, Holywell Bay, Newquay, Cornwall very difficult so I have decided to hold off until next week when it is supposed to be warming up.
Holywell Bay Beach is looking very wind swept and nothing much is washing up on the shore line which is great, but we know that out there in the ocean waiting to wash in is “Plastic” but every one helps to keep the beach clean when this happens!
The Sand dunes on Holywell Bay have dramatically changed again over the winter months, not doubt by the end of the summer it will be all flattened out ready for the winter gales to reshape them again.
Cornwall beaches are ranked as the best in Europe. Holywell Bay was listed as one of the top beach locations to visit and take a holiday by Cornwall Live.
Holywell Bay is manned by RNLI lifeguards during the warmer months and has excellent areas to swim and surfing areas. The Atlantic surf is the best.
Dave and I walk most days on the beach, we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful location and have the beach outside our door. So roll on the warmer weather!
